Pumpkins, pumpkins everywhere. The classic fall vegetable is in full abundance. But what exactly do you do with pumpkins besides carve them? The options are as bountiful as a pumpkin harvest! Check out these Top Ten Ways to Enjoy Pumpkins.

Many of these recipes call for pumpkin puree. Making your own is really easy! Preheat your oven to 325 degrees. Cut a pumpkin in half. Remove the seeds and the pulp. Cover each half with foil. Bake in the oven about an hour, until tender. Let cool slightly and scrape pumpkin meat from the pumpkin halves. Puree the meat in a blender. If you are still finding stringy pieces of pumpkin, you can strain the puree to remove them. Whip up your own batch of pumpkin puree and use it to make Pumpkin Chili. Enjoy!
