Family mealtime is a great way to connect with your family. A night of family fun may be just what you you need to combat the stress, fear, or anxiety you and your family may be feeling during the Covid-19 pandemic. Theme dinners are an easy way to make dinnertime more fun. Click here to read about our family theme dinner ideas.

Family pizza night is a favorite at our house. If you’ve never made homemade pizza before, don’t worry! We’ve got you covered with our four easy steps to create a pizza.

Perhaps the most intimidating part of creating a pizza is making the crust. The whole wheat pizza dough recipe below is super easy. A quick mix with a wooden spoon or rubber spatula, a simple round of kneading, 10 minutes of rise time, and your pizza dough is ready to roll!

Another tasty recipe is Three Ingredient Pizza Dough. It’s so easy even kids can make it.
If you don’t have self rising flour in your pantry, you can make your own. For every 1 cup of self rising flour, mix together one cup of all purpose flour, 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder, and 1/4 tsp. salt to use instead.

When it comes time to top your pizza, really anything goes. Set out a bunch of toppings, including some healthy options like diced chicken, veggies, and fruit. Let your family decide what they want to try. Your kids will love spreading the sauce and cheese, picking their own toppings, and enjoying the creation they made.

Still not convinced how easy it is? Take a look at this video and watch it in action.
