CREATE Easy Meals with CREATE Guides
Have you used our “Create guides” yet? We have TWELVE create guides to help you create meals with ingredients you have on hand and save money. It is frustrating to find a recipe that looks appetizing only to find out it uses ingredients you’ve never heard of and will likely never use again. Using food on hand helps save you time by not having to run to the grocery store for one ingredient or for something you likely won’t use in the future. What is supposed to be a quick and easy grocery stop can become quite time consuming if you’re using public transportation. Besides, who really wants to head to the grocery store just before dinner? Not me!
Save Money, Use Ingredients On-Hand
Our create guides will help you save money too by utilizing what you have on hand. Using what’s in your pantry helps you rotate your food storage, save money, and use less gas in your car. Here is a list of the create guides we offer:
- Amazing Veggies
- Casserole
- Easy Eggs
- Fruity Dessert
- Pizza
- Quick Bread
- Salad
- Sandwich/Wrap
- Skillet Meal
- Smoothie
- Soup
- Stir Fry

Learn Skills
Rather than teach only recipes, Create Better Health classes, including our Online class aim to teach you skills to create a variety of dishes out of healthy foods you can have on hand. Each CREATE guide shows the basics of putting a meal together and suggests ingredients you can use in place of items listed on recipes.
Substituting ingredients is helpful for:
- Cutting costs by using what you have on hand or using a cheaper item.
- Adapting recipes to personal preferences or dietary needs.
- Making things healthier.
- Simplifying time spent on meal preparation.
Here are a few of these CREATE guides a little closer. In each lesson Create Better Health lesson, your Ambassador will go into more detail using a recipe demonstration.
